Key things to know
- Parent-directed, not kids-category. You create the account and control everything. The app is not listed in the App Store Kids category.
- Voice & face are biometric data. We treat them with extra care. You give explicit consent in the app before anything is collected, and you can delete both at any time.
- Voice cloning uses ElevenLabs. Your 30-second recording is sent to ElevenLabs to generate your private voice model. Nothing else.
- We don't use advertising SDKs. No Facebook SDK, no TikTok pixel, no data brokers.
- COPPA-compliant. We minimize child data, get verifiable parental consent, and give you review/delete rights.
- Screening is not diagnosis. Our developmental screening is informational. Always consult a licensed SLP for diagnostic or treatment decisions.
State-specific privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights:
- California (CCPA/CPRA) — right to know, delete, correct, opt out of "sale/sharing" (we don't sell), and limit use of sensitive personal information. Details.
- Illinois (BIPA) — specific protections for biometric identifiers. Written consent required before voice/face collection. Details.
- EU / UK (GDPR) — access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, objection. Details.
